Hi Ajay,

I think you are doing a great job answering these queries.

I have a couple of queries too.

I have close to four years of IT exp. Am I eligible?

My second question is what exactly just GMITE bring to the table for experience techies like us.

For example I have good exp of CRM technologies...now I want to move more into a consulting role...where I would be able to consult clients as to how a product would be able to help them do business.

Would GMITE help me in terms of knowledge and brand value in achieving a role like this?

What is the brand value of this course compared to the full time course or PGSEM?

Shatadip,

Thanks for ur comments.
GMITE is fairly new course compared to PGSEM/any Flagship fulltime course. However anyone doing or done the course can tell you its surely benefited them in someway or other way.

Min 3 yrs exp can apply, however generally 5+ years are get admission. GITE 2008 batch has cutoff of 7.5 years.

Hi,
Thanks so much for the information. I came to know of this course just couple of days back. The IIM's website says that the next session starts on Jan 2009. Could anyone please tell :
1.The admission procedure followed? Is there an admision test for the course?
2.Does the IIM provide any placement facility to students? Be it direct or indirect, are the students eligible to sit for the campus placement programmes?

Any reply would be highly appreciated,

Abhishek

Hi Ajay,
I have seen your blog http://gmiteiimb.blogspot.com/ and wanted to get in touch with you. There is couple of questions related to GMITE. If you can answer them, will be a great help.

1) What is the methodology for evaluations/examinations which would be conducted during the course, if there is any? Subjective Questions or Objective questions?

2) How would logistics be arranged for such evaluations/examinations?

3) Is there any break possible between the course, in case of emergency and one can come back and rejoin the course?
Sorry for bothering you. But really appreciate your efforts in answering those questions.

regards
Rahul
